Morgan’s Senior Session | CNY Senior Photographer

November 1, 2019

What a commendable season it is, to be in your final year of high school! As a CNY Senior Photographer, I love to capture the anticipation of my seniors. They have so much ahead of them, so much future, and they are ready to embark on their new life’s journey.

Morgan was a joy to photograph. She was easy to coach into poses and styled her own session in 3 flattering outfits. She even showed me her game face for her Phoenix Tennis games. On top of wearing her cute Tennis uniform, Morgan also had a sweet vintage tennis racket. I encourage my seniors to bring their passion with them to their CNY Senior Photography Session.

Like most my sessions, props are in use. Morgan’s mom and grandfather made two cute props, acknowledging her accomplishments for the session. She rocked those as well.

Miss Morgan’s session was located at Mexico Point Park. This beautiful park offers a variety of ‘backdrops’ for my subject to add to their session. Lake Ontario being the cream of the backdrops, there is also rocked walls, a boardwalk bridge, and natural scenery all around to capture along with my senior. And looking at the massive trees thriving on the park’s property, it is obvious that they have been holding their ground there for a long time.

Mexico Point Park location is an early American history lesson all itself. Though I spent one year of living on the same road as the park, as a 9-year-old, I only know a small portion of it’s history. Since Morgan’s session, I looked up some information and I found out that site has been used by Native Americans, Missionaries, and has a claim to Spy Island during the Revolutionary War. Even Theodore Roosevelt made an appearance for a 4th of July Celebration!  (source: (now I feel like I’m back in school!)
