If I had to pick a favorite couple...I think these guys would take the cake. And really not because they are so good together or how darn cute they are, but their love for serving the children in our community. For the past several years I have had the honor of having both Zach and Brittany serving our Church's Sunday School department. They put the children first, teaching and loving them. They are selfless with their time and I can count on them with out reminders where and when I need them to be for our Sunday School activities. There aren't too many young people these days that will put the needs of others before themselves.
Zach had asked me to capture his marriage proposal back in May. It was a cold day with snow flurries in the wind at the top of Salmon River Falls. The waters were so high from the amount of winter snow and spring rain that we couldn't hike down to the bottom of the ravine. But hey, being proposed to on the top of a waterfall is pretty awesome!
For their engagement session in Oswego NY, we went to the coast of Lake Ontario. Our beautiful city borders this great lake so there are options galore for a gorgeous water backdrop. Once again the weather was against us as we shot through cloudy sky's threatening rain with light showers. But the spot we chose, actually had a pink band across the sky, allowing for a little color against the gray clouds. But this couple smiled through it and looked great. I love how well their images came out that you wouldn't know the weather was cooperating.
I am very exciting to see the journey these two go on for their upcoming marriage. Putting their faith first is so important in a marriage. Love you Zach and Britt Britt!
