The Frog Prince |Oswego NY Children's Photographer|

Themes are becoming the thing for baby showers, children décor and more. Pintrest offers an amazing variety of ideas, designs, do-it-yourself and inspiration to create a unique perspective on your décor of choice.

Photo sessions are styled and planned around these themes that parents have for their children. As infants, it usually goes to the parent’s preference. In this session, 9 month milestone, Zadyn’s mother has a love for frogs. Long back story, we will leave it there.

Knowing this information, I created a backdrop, designed and painted it, for Zadyn’s session. I have dubbed it the “Swamp”. His mama brought in a frog costume that his great grandma had knitted for him. That just took the image over the top. We did some portraits with and without the adorable frog suit.

After his portraits in the “Swamp”, I pulled together a bucket bubble bath for him. Zadyn was all about that. He loves to play in the bath at home and he made quite a splash, literally, all over my wood floor. He was just keeping it real. What kid doesn’t splash when in the tub?

What’s great about milestone sessions, is it not only captures their growth but their changing personality as well. They are learning new things, conquering the crawl, learning to walk, smiling and giggling more. They respond faster and are much more alert.

My goal in each session is not just to create a memorable experience and photos but a quality in the image that will last for generations. Portrait sessions aren’t just meant to be shared and viewed on social media. Life changes way to fast there. These images are to be created into beautiful artwork. Every time you see your baby’s portrait smiling back at you, you will remember them as they were, that little. Your baby, forever.
